Who we are

Ovelit Tasks is a product of OveliTHub (ovelit.com). We run the service and decide how the information in it is used. The service is in early access, which means it is working and in use, and still changing.

What we collect

• Your account: name, email address, a hashed password, your time zone and notification choices.
• Your workspace content: everything you and your teammates add, such as tasks, comments, files, check-ins, time entries and form answers.
• Basic technical data: sign-in sessions, IP address and browser type, kept to keep accounts secure and the service running.

People who submit a public intake form give their answers to the workspace that owns the form, not to us.

How we use it

• To run the service: showing your work to the people you share it with.
• To send email about your account and the notifications you asked for, such as invitations, password resets and daily summaries.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, rent it, or use your workspace content for advertising.

Where it is stored

Data is stored on servers in the United Kingdom, on hosting shared with other OveliTHub products. Files you attach are stored privately and are only served to signed-in people who can see the task.

Who can see your work

Members of your workspace see what the owner and admins share with them. Guests see only the spaces shared with them. OveliTHub staff access workspace content only when needed to provide support you asked for, to keep the service secure, or when the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your account or workspace exists. A workspace owner can delete the workspace, which removes its tasks, files and history. You can ask us to delete your account by writing to us. Backups that may still hold deleted data are replaced on a rolling basis.

Your choices

You can change your name, password and notification settings in your account. You can export tasks and time entries to CSV at any time. To ask for a copy of your data, a correction or deletion, contact us through ovelit.com.

The demo workspace

The public demo workspace contains fictional data and resets every night. Anything typed into it can be seen by other visitors, so do not enter real information there.

Changes

If we change this notice in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change takes effect.
